TAG in Arts' Peter Pan
BOSTON- The performing arts program TAG in Arts presents a theatrical adaptation of the family classic, Peter Pan. This production, adapted by the program's participants, presents the central theme of the play in a new and refreshing manner.
TAG in Arts' Peter Pan tells the story of the boy who could fly and his adventures in Neverland, with Wendy and her brothers, the fairy Tinker Bell, the Lost Boys, the Indian princess Tiger Lily, and the terrible pirate Captain Hook. With a cast composed by Boston Public Schools students, "Peter Pan" transports its audiences to Neverland, with highflying performances worthy of a great stage. The play discusses the conflict between the innocence of childhood and the responsibilities of adulthood. "Peter Pan" goes onstage June 7 and 8, 2014 at the Snowden Auditorium at UMass Boston. Your contribution to the Program is most welcome.
TAG in Arts is a component of the Talented And Gifted (TAG) Program of the Institute for Learning and Teaching at UMass Boston, celebrating over 30 years of transforming Latino youth in Boston. Save the date and bring the entire family! Support youth, support the arts- support TAG in Arts!
