This is the Girl is a full-length work by Funsch Dance Experience which features performances by Christy Funsch, Nol Simonse and company members Nick Brently, Chad Dawson, Chin Chin Hsu, Peiling Kao, Courtney Moreno, and accompaniment by Dance Brigade's Grrrl Brigade on Taiko drums, Dory Ellis on electric guitar, and vocals by members of the San Francisco Community Music Center's Children's Chorus. This is the Girl is generously supported by the San Francisco Arts Commission Cultural Equity Grants Program through an Individual Artist Commission.
