DOWNTOWN EATS: Discover Deliciousness
The Alliance for Downtown New York is excited to present the latest tour in its DOWNTOWN EATS culinary food tour series - DOWNTOWN EATS: Discover Deliciousness!
Join Jonathan Lachance, the Downtown Alliance's Director of Retail Programs, for an exciting exploration of some of Lower Manhattan's - and the city's - most tantalizing restaurants and purveyors.
The tour will feature samples of succulent sliders, Italian eggplant parmagiana, a fine wine and cheese pairing, some of the best coffee and cookies in the city, and much more of Lower Manhattan's tastiest fare. Participants will also explore the new Fulton Stall Market, where local producers and purveyors sell fresh regional produce, fish, and more.
The tour will also offer participants insight into the history of Lower Manhattan's development, and the recent changes that have made it one of New York City's fastest growing residential neighborhoods.
The tour will begin at 12 noon on June 27th in front of Trinity Place restaurant.
