SAFFIRE UPPITY BLUES WOMEN

Saffire was formed in 1984, and 2009 will mark our 25th anniversary. We will celebrate a quarter-century of fond memories and achievements. However, this 25th year will also be the year of our final tour and our final release as a group. In these years, we have had the opportunity to make music all over the world. It has been a dream come true for all of us -- to make a living doing what we love. We've shared a magic chemistry that is much more than our individual talents. So you might ask, "Well then, why are you ending Saffire?" For many years our visions coincided, but as we have aged and grown, our individual needs have changed. Our love of the music and our love for each other has not changed. As we move forward in different musical directions, we look forward to providing support and encouragement to each other.
