Avatar Movement Dance Company

Avatar Movement Dance Company is a franchised dance organization, now located in Denver, New Orleans, and Houston. The New Orleans Company, under the Artist Direction of Alexa Erck and Creative Direction of Monica Ordonez, is excited to be performing for the first time at Marigny Opera House. The group proudly consists of professional dancers who all share that same passion for the arts. Every company member offers their unique gifts, and is given the opportunity to choreograph, perform, teach, and voice their expression. The company trains vigorously in various styles of advanced technique to become uniform in strength and aesthetics. AMDC performs frequently throughout the year at diverse events, venues, and communities, spreading the love of dance to our cities and youth; we even have a Junior Company! AMDC is known for it's "one of a kind" theatrical productions and choreographer showcases, where we've been known to combine artists, musicians, and cinematography with our stylized movement to create exclusive, exciting, and entertaining shows.
