Final Round of San Jose International Piano Competition Advanced Category
100 pianists from 12 different countries compete for ten days starting on June 6th. Final Round of Competition determines Gold, Silver and Bronze Medalists in Advanced Category. Each of our 3 finalists will perform a solo program including works by Liszt, Chopin, and Rachmaninoff. Vote for your favorite contestant to win a $500 Public Prize. This will be one very exciting afternoon of music with 3 of the most talented young pianists in the world.
All prizes will be announced on stage after the jury deliberation. Jury members include:
Antonio Pompa-Baldi: President of Jury and Van Cliburn medalist
Lea Agmon: Director of the Conservatory at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance
Stephan Moller: Prof. of Music at University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, Austria
Namik Sultanov: Professor of Music at San Jose State University
Pascal Nemirovski: Professor of Music at the Royal Academy of Music in London
