Have you ever thought about turning your life's trials and tribulations into a NY Times bestseller but didn't know where to start? In this one day class, successful memoirist Sara Benincasa will share her secrets for painlessly excavating your tumultuous past to craft a gripping page turner! Her fun, in-class exercises will help you write a kick ass story about the moments that have (temporarily) kicked your ass. She'll cover crucial topics such as writing about painful experiences with humor as well adding insightful, relatable perspective to your tales. By the end of the class, you'll have written a couple of moving scenes from a story only you could tell and brainstormed a solid plan for completing your memoir without a Jerry Springer intervention!
