Folk Off
Up to 28 musical acts will compete for cash prizes and a chance to perform at the Sioux River Folk Festival the following weekend. This is a fund raiser for the Friends of Traditional Music and The Nashville Songwriters Association International. Register your band or group!
Friday evening, 6 pm, songwriters will be performing their original compositions, in a round, which is each talented songwriters taking turns to perform until the rotation is complete.
Saturday, the competition begins at 10am until 5pm. Then the awards will be presented to the winners of the People's Choice and Judges Choice. At 6pm, Strawbale Winery and the Nashville Songwriters will present this years Headliner to close the event.
Tickets are $15.00 in advance and good for both days,available on www.BrownPaperTickets.com. Tickets are $20.00 the day of the events.
It's all about the Music, Wine, Beer, Food, Shopping and Folk Off. Please no food, beverages, or pets.....all will be provided.
