Doors open at 7:00 PM, event starts at 7:30 PM, $5 suggested donation, all ages
The lifeblood of The Telling Room is a volunteer army of writers and artists who believe in the power of stories. This community includes accomplished and professional novelists, poets, screenwriters, journalists, photographers, book makers, songwriters, teachers, and carpenters. 8 writers, 1 radio producer, and 1 filmmaker will share recent work and talk briefly about their struggle to create it and get it out in the world. Those participating include non-fiction writers Susan Conley, Andrew McNabb, and Mike Paterniti; poets Patty Hagge and Gibson Fay-LeBlanc, fiction writers Ari Meil and Genevieve Morgan and radio producer Suzi Piker.
