Try Again Doc! â The Things the Medical Field Doesnât Tell You 4-6pm Did you know that most doctors only receive 12 hours of sexual health/sexuality training in medical school? That gender is rarely discussed, let alone sexual orientation, a-spots/female ejaculation and so on? The most necessary examinations are often skimmed over AND to top it all off, many doctors have discomfort with bringing up the topic of sexuality even though it is direly needed. In this class you will receive the information on what you need to know before you enter into your Dr.âs office, be able to address misconceptions your doctor holds towards sexuality and gender, and learn a few tricks as to how to stay OUT of the Doctorâs office.
Megan Andelloux, also known as Oh Megan!, is a board certified Sexologist, Sexuality and HIV Educator located on the East Coast. She works as a Gynecological Teaching Associate, training medical providers(with the use of her body) how to give nice, happy pelvic exams and is a Sex Worker's Advocate. She is a national speaker for colleges, hospitals and the media. She is the founder and director of The Center for Sexual Pleasure and Health, an author in the book "We got Issues: A Young Woman's Guide to a Bold, Courageous and Empowered Life" and one of the broadcaster's in the Tearin' It Off Podcast. Megan has been listed as one of the "Top 50 Sexuality Educators" in America on Wikipedia and has appeared in numerous national magazines presenting sexuality information.
