KTTH Panel Debate, Religious Freedom: Where My Rights and Your Rights Collide
Tea Party favorite Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) recently said "religious liberty has never been under more assault [in this country]." Is that an accurate statement, or is it hyperbole to stoke passions ahead of an important midterm election? KTTH AM 770 will host a panel discussion on the implications of recent laws and court cases concerning religious freedom. We'll dissect the conflict between minority rights and religious liberty, and seek common ground between all sides. KTTH AM 770 host David Boze will moderate this panel, featuring fellow KTTH hosts Michael Medved and Ben Shapiro. Joining Medved and Shapiro to tackle this important subject will be Valerie Tarico, frequent contributor to Huffington Post's religion column, Professor James Wellman, chair of the comparative religion department at University of Washington, and Reverend Monica Corsaro from Rainier Beach United Methodist Church. The event will be held at Pigott Auditorium at Seattle University on June 26 from 7:30pm to 9:00pm.
General Admission ticket price is $15.00 (before applicable service charges and/or fees). Students with Identification will receive an admission price of $10.00 (plus service fees). Student ID will be checked at the door.
VIP Attendees will be treated to an exclusive, pre-debate reception with Ben Shapiro, David Boze, and Michael Medved. You'll enjoy complimentary wine and beer, and will receive an autographed copy of both "Primetime Propaganda: The True Hollywood Story of How the Left Took Over Your TV " by Shapiro and "The 5 Big Lies about American Business" by Medved. Plus, you'll receive priority seating in the first several rows of the venue. This VIP Reception last from 6:00pm to 7:15pm.
