The Road to Hope: An Elephant's Story
Meet Hope, a girl who dreams of being an elephant, and meet Rosie, an elephant who dreams of being free. Discover how Rosie and Hope journey from feeling alone and misunderstood to understanding what friendship really means. This play is inspired by the true story of Rosie, a retired circus elephant living at Hope Elephant Sanctuary. The Road to Hope: an Elephant's Story can be enjoyed by audiences of all ages. Learn about elephants, enjoy the lively circus scenes, and uncover the metaphors and messages behind the story. This play speaks to the power of inter-species connection, offers methods to overcome bullying, and instills the perseverance of hope. Produced with support from the Margaret E. Burnham Charitable Trust.
