Farm Tour / Pig Roast - Kick-off to Cochon
We are honored to be chosen to provide one of our custom fed, Animal Welfare Approved, pastured heritage hogs for the Grand Cochon 555 competition in Aspen, Co (http://cochon555.com/2014-tour/grand-cochon/). Jose Mendin, Chef and owner of Pubbelly in Miami, will be preparing our custom finished heritage hog in the competition.
In order to get there we will need your help. We are planning a pig roast and farm tour to help raise funds to cover the expenses associated with the event. It is a great way to see the new place if you haven't been out here yet, and to hang out with some of the coolest chefs in the area. We are cooking a whole roaster pig and will have sides and beer.
************************************************************Pig roast will be Saturday, May 31 from 3-6PM at Luke San Antonio Riverwalk, 125 E Houston, San Antonio, TX 78205. There will be a private farm tour for just those people who attend the pig roast at a date to be announced. This change is the result of the recent storms. Our farm is quite wet and several trees were knocked down in the storm, so we are moving to an indoor location and will have the farm tour when things dry up.
