CCT Membership 2014-2015
Clayton Community Theatre's 2014-2015 season includes:

The Lion in Winter by James Goldman, directed by Sam Hack
January 22 - February 8, 2015 (three weeks)
Set during Christmas 1183, this play dramatizes the gamesmanship between King Henry II of England, his wife Eleanor of Aquitaine (whom he has had imprisoned since 1173), their three surviving sons Richard, Geoffrey, and John, and their Christmas Court guest, King Philip II of France, who was the son of Eleanor's ex-husband, Louis VII of France. This is the play that won Rosemary Harris a Tony award and was made into an Academy Award-winning movie.

Macbeth by William Shakespeare, directed by Nancy Crouse
April 23 - May 3, 2015
Widely considered one of Shakespeare's darkest and most powerful works, Macbeth dramatizes the corrosive psychological and political effects produced when evil is chosen as a way to fulfill the ambition for power. CCT's first production of the Scottish play is also the CCT directing debut of acclaimed St. Louis director and actress Nancy Crouse.

The Skin of Our Teeth by Thornton Wilder, directed by Joe O'Connor
July 16 - 26, 2015
This Pulitzer prize-winning play by one of America's best-known playwrights presents a three-part story of the Antrobus family of Excelsior, New Jersey, as an allegory about the life of mankind. Joe O'Connor, who directed the critically-acclaimed Room at the Inn for CCT last season, returns to direct again.

New for this season: we will be performing each production four days a week - Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings at 8:00 and Sunday afternoons at 2:00. This allows those whose weekends are already full to enjoy our productions on Thursdays.

Membership is available at several levels:

* Subscriber: $45 ($35 for students and seniors).  Includes one season ticket to all three plays and acknowledgement in the program.
