FOR PLAY / FOR PRIDE / FOR ART: SEXY SUMMER FUNDRAISER for Footloose presents Fundraiser
In the spirit of sexy summer fun, we are throwing a dance party with entertainment by Rasa Vitalia (no partner required) followed by Bay Area favorite Stephanie Teel Band. All profits go directly to artists in this year's exciting original productions and residency program. Everyone is welcome to strut and show some skin and love for the artists who make San Francisco a top cultural place to be.
Stephanie Teel Band (www.stephanieteel.com) and entertainer/dancer Rasa Vitalia (www.rasavitalia.com) bring their large, loyal, and diverse fans wherever they play for some booty shakin' fun! Rasa's unique style of dance and music is hot and beautiful - charged with enthusiasm and energy. She is like no other! Stephanie Teel and her badass band of excellent musicians keep it real, funky and soulful delivering dance grooves you will not get enough of!
Footloose is on the move. After serving thousands of artists and audiences for23 years in the Mission, our beloved community space, Shotwell Studios was forced out. We survived this past year at various venues and continue to receive support from Grants for the Arts/SF Hotel Tax Fund and generous people like you.
It's up to all of us to keep the arts strong. Your donation makes original productions possible, including the upcoming:
Wishing Wheels, a new Theatecture site specific work with the Footloose team and designer/sculptor Cindi Valverde, premieres October 11 at this year's Yerba Buena Night.
Theater Umbra with innovator/inventor Walter Funk and his Hologlyphic Music Box, a spatially interactive stereoscopic VJ installation. This is an augmented reality social experience with music, theater and holographic projections.
Aaron Jessup's Flying Dreams, and another one man show,
Bob McIntyre's Please Wait to be Seated.

Rasa Vitalia has over two decades of mastery, advanced study and a degree in multiple dance and music forms from around the globe, but first and foremost she is a professional dancer and choreographer. Her talents now extend to music composer, song writer, vocalist, as well as live music and show producer for a variety of first-class events. She is a featured artist in professional live music and variety show productions around the world with a wide variety of talented entertainers including popular platinum record grammy winning artists. Her achievements include "San Francisco's Performing Artist of the Year Award, 2011-2012 (RAW Artists)" Artist-in-Residence at Supperclub San Francisco.
