Comedy with Kris Brannon

If you don't know him, you've probably seen him on the news , in the paper, or on the occasional Sportscenter. It's everybody's favorite Superfan for a team that isn't there. The "Sonics Guy" AKA Kris Brannon.

Kris Brannon started out doing improv comedy with groups such as Theatresports, Fools Play and the Scatterbrains. From there he moved onto performing Stand-Up comedy in doing so, Kris has performed at clubs, colleges and casinos all over the Western United States and Canada. He's performed at such festivals as Bumbershoot and events like First Night.

Then after the Sonics left in 2008 Kris was devastated by a lack of will by some individuals to keep the Sonics here( I'm looking at you Ex-Seattle Mayor Nickles) 8 months after they left he started attending community events to let the people know what they lost and so people would remember the team he loved. He has delivered the Sonics message at over 2,000+ events. He has been to every type of political event Democrat, Republican, Occupy, he's even been to 7 Tea Party events because the Sonics don't belong to an ideology, they belong to everyone. He has been to every type of sporting event, he's been to both types of women's football ( lingerie and full pads) to deliver a positive Sonics message along with a few laughs. He has recently appeared on Comedy Central and The 206. He writes a regular column for SonicsRising site on SB Nation, and is currently writing a book about his adventures. When you see him be prepared to laugh at a true original.
