Fundraiser for Arise High Undocumented Students

Adelante is Leadership Program that focuses on empowering youth, the community and ultimately the world. This program derived and is powered by the program we know as Homies Empowerment. Both these programs have impacted individuals and communities and so has individuals and communities impacted us. We feel it is an honor to help those in need and so we ADELANTE AND HOMIES EMPOWERMENT invite you to this event.

The Adelante Leadership Program is hosting a fundraiser event to provide scholarship support to those ARISE seniors going off to college. We would like to have you here and open it up for you to invite any friends. Through many many decades in U.S history undocumented people have struggled in getting equal rights in many aspects of life. Although things are changing and seem to be going in a better direction it is still not a perfect system for all. We, the members of Adelante/Homies Empowerment, decided to take matters into our own hands and support our undocumented students at ARISE High School.

We are looking to generate a minimum of $2,000 dollars. This money would be given to those seniors that are going off to college in a scholarship format. And the money received would be considered a 'Book Scholarship'.

In coming to this event you will be given:
-A plate of food (Soft Drinks Provided)
-Lounge Music
-A music performance
-Undocumented student stories
-And a feel-good feeling that will last you at least a WEEK!

These students would appreciate your support and we know we would too. If we work together in solidarity anything is possible. SI SE PUEDE.
