Roedde House Concerts Presents: The Keenlyside, Jaré, Gubbels Debut
Join us for an evening of jazz at the Roedde House (1415 Barclay Street). This illustrious trio will serenade you with catchy originals, scintillating solos & hot enchantment.
Featuring: Juno Award winner, TOM KEENLYSIDE, flute/ saxophone, FRAN JARÉ, composer/pianist, and BRENT GUBBELS, acoustic bass.
Contemporary jazz takes on hot enchantment with a 'now' jazz from insightful & catchy originals, scintillating solos to a serene state of being and back again to our roots.
The concert will take place in the ambient Victorian parlour of Roedde House Museum a restored house in Vancouver's quaint West End neighbourhood (complete with a fully-tuned, 100 year-old upright Steinway piano!). Guests are encouraged to arrive at 7:00pm for a brief historic main floor tour of the house, normally a separate museum admission, included in the price of a ticket.
Tea & homemade cookies will be served at intermission. You won't want to miss this one-of-a-kind evening experience of music and place!
