The Oral History Project of the NYWCA
This event will honor the contribution of 14 early and founding NYWCA members whose interviews will become part of the NYU collection, "Voices of the Food Revolution."
While 75 women attended the first gathering, forming the Alliance, hundreds of women have participated over the years, adding their contributions and changing this organization. We will share a half hour video, edited from the 12+ hours of tapes, meeting some of the women who chose to join and build the Alliance. Please join us as some of the women interviewed will speak and we will share a toast to our continuing legacy.
