Daytrip: Orangetown Bus Tour
The Historical Society of Rockland County invites you to join us on a daytrip to explore the rich history of Orangetown, New York
When: Saturday, June 21, 2014
Where: Leaves the '76 House Restaurant at 9 am and returns at midday for lunch. Luncheon concludes at about 2 pm.
Price: $70/person (HSRC Members); $75 (Non-Members). Includes bus transportation, guided tour with the Town Historian, and a delicious lunch.
Did you know there are more than 25 National Register locations in Orangetown and more than 35 historical markers?
From the story of Andre and Arnold to the early recording studio of Bruce Springsteen, there is something for everyone on this trip. Our guide will be Town Historian Mary Cardenas, and we will see famous houses, churches, and points of interest.
The trip includes a stop at midday for lunch at The '76 House in Tappan. Lunch will include a salad, choice of entree, and dessert.

Please note that the motor coach will depart from The '76 House parking lot (REAR), 110 Main Street, Tappan.
Directions: Take the Palisades Interstate Parkway to Exit 5 South (Route 303). At the first traffic light, make a right on to Kings Highway and follow around to Main Street, which begins juston the other side of the traffic light. The '76 House is just ahead on the right; make a right-hand turn into the parking lot. Please park in the REAR section of the parking lot.

Cancellation policy: Refunds will only be given if space can be filled by another guest prior to trip. A waiting list will be compiled, and available spaces will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Only those who have made full payment can be accommodated.
