Crow Hill Supper Club Presents: Bar Bites, Bourbon & Beer
With Spring becoming a nearly full-time occurrence, Crow Hill Supper Club has decided to throw a party! "Bar Bites, Bourbon & Beer" is a celebration of charcuterie and all things Spring. On Saturday, May 17th at 7:30pm, Ian Bock, the sous chef of Fritzl's Lunch Box in Bushwick, will be serving an assortment of charcuterie and other bar bites including deviled eggs, charred spring onions, asparagus, cheeses and much more.
Tickets are $35 and attendees will have the option of unlimited beer and bourbon for $20. Drinks can also be purchased individually ($4).
Ian Bock is a veteran of April Bloomfield's Breslin Bar and Dining Room, where he first learned the art of curing and preserving. After traveling extensively in Western Europe, Ian began working as lead line cook at Hooni Kim's modern Korean restaurant, Danji, and his sister restaurant Han Jan before returning to (mostly) Western cooking at Andrew Carmellini's The Dutch.
Ian currently works as the sous chef at Fritzl's Lunch Box in Brooklyn and runs a small charcuterie company know as Brooklyn Artisanal Foods.
