Scott McLaughlin comes to The Laugh Bar

The Laugh Bar is Burlington's newest comedy venue, located underneath the already popular bar "Drink." The Laugh Bar specializes in bringing you the best in local and regional comedic talent. Our next show Features: Scott McLaughlin, Dan Murphy, Josh Starr, Hosted by Mike Thomas

Scott McLaughlin started his stand-up act in New Hampshire before moving to Boston about 2 years ago. Scott has worked hard to become a budding force in the Boston Comedy Scene. Scott recently was part of the Boston Comedy and Arts Festival in 2013. He is a regular at the world famous "Comedy Studio" in Harvard Square. He has performed at clubs and colleges around the New England area. He has turned his everyday life of teaching and commuting around Boston into a thoughtful and well-crafted act.

Josh Star:
Hey, guy. I don't know you, and you don't me, so let's just all take a deep breath. If you got a sore, maybe I can make it go away. That is...if you play your cards right. But right now my memory is a little foggy see. Well when you put it that way...it's coming back now. I heard there is this guy, you might be interested in. His name is Josh Star and dang it all if he aint the slickest cattle rustler this side of the Winooski. But I don't much, so maybe you should see for yourself. So I'll be on my way then.

Mike Thomas has been telling jokes since he was 14. He is a 3 time runner up for the "Higher Ground Comedy Battle" and was a runner up in the first ever "Funniest Comic in Vermont Contest." More recently Mike was asked to open for Kurt Braunohler, and for Kyle Kinane. Mike is also the co-producer of this show.
