DEATH OF A SALESMAN by Arthur Miller (in San Francisco)
For the first time ever, TJT approaches an American classic, exploring the legendary Lomas as a conflicted Jewish family trapped in their pursuit of the American Dream. TJT Artistic Director Aaron Davidman directs an ensemble led by TJT co-founder Corey Fischer and Associate Artist Jeri Lynn Cohen. Local composer and cellist Moses Sedler will perform his original score live with each performance of this bold re-imagining of one of American's most unforgettable plays.
On April 28 at 8pm there will be a special
pre-show discussion between the show's director, Aaron Davidman, and the
executive director of JVS (Jewish Vocational Services) about the role of
work in America and how the play reflects on that. The pre-show talk will
start at 7pm in the "cafe space" of Theatre Artaud.
