Junior Sisk and Ramblers Choice with opening act Rich In Tradition at The Blue Ridge Music Center
The Blue Ridge Music Center's(Milepost 213 on the Blue Ridge Parkway, near Galax, VA) Saturday Evening Concert Series held in the Center's beautiful outdoor amphitheater nestled at the foot of Fisher Peak in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Sunday, August 3rd's concert - from 7-9 PM - features Carroll County, VA native James King and his Bluegrass Band plus local opening act Adam McPeak & Mountain Thunder.
Junior Sisk's songwriting talent help propel The Lonesome River Band to Bluegrass stardom in the early 1990s. Then he became a member of Wyatt Rice & Santa Cruz and then ultimately Blueridge, before forming his own band in 1998. Junior Sisk was 2013 International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) Male Vocalist of the Year.
