Far in the western reaches of the Sonoma Coast, David Hirsch's vineyards roll across mountainous ridges, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. This area, known as the West Sonoma Coast, much of which is now demarcated by the new Fort Ross-Seaview AVA, has distinguished itself as one of the world's leading regions for top quality pinot noir and chardonnay. It was here, in 1980, that David Hirsch founded his vineyard with the goal of making site-specific wine. Hirsch Vineyards is a single vineyard comprised of more than 60 distinct farming blocks covering an area of 72 acres. Each block was individually developed and is now farmed, harvested and vinified separately. The resulting wines from this rugged environment are some of the best coming out of California. They are fresh, balanced, bright, and full of character and depth. Please join us as we welcome Jasmine Hirsch for a dinner featuring the wines of Hirsch Vineyards, with a special menu crafted by Chefs Mark Sullivan and John Madriaga.
