The Seattle Angel Dinner Series Version 2.2 (with a Special Bonus).
Please save the date for our second angel dinner in this, our second year, on May 19th. As usual, mingling and networking start at 6PM and we will sit down for dinner at 7PM.
We are lucky to have an amazing chef who recently moved here from New York where he headed up the sous vide cooking for Grammercy Tavern. His name is JJ Proville and he is currently working at Il Corvo with Mike Easton. He wants to open his own restaurant soon.
The premise is simple: a healthy and engaged angel/investor network is one of the keys to a healthy startup eco-system and so we thought it would be cool to bring together quality local angels (and a few other players in the tech sector) for a fun and engaging night of food, wine and conversation....aka, good ol' networking and idea sharing. Of course, given the timing, consider this our holiday soiree too.
We are limiting the numbers so we can keep it small enough for good conversations. We are fortunate enough to have great sponsors with Craig Sherman of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, Craig Kinzer of Kinzer Real Estate Services, and Geir Hansen of Silicon Valley Bank who have kindly agreed to subsidize this event to keep the price to $50 (normally $135) for the multi-course, libation paired meal.

A VERY SPECIAL BONUS:
We will once again meet a very cool tech company in South Lake Union in a pre-function. They are called Kineta and one of the reasons I am having them as part of our event is their unique angel investment structure. Kineta was founded in 2008 by longtime business partners, Chuck Magness, PhD and Shawn Iadonato, PhD. Kineta is applying new strategies to drug development, fundraising and speeding ROI. Its pipeline contains novel therapeutic candidates for autoimmune diseases, viral diseases and non-narcotic pain relief. Two compounds in the pipeline originally were derived from venomous animals.
