Stories, Storytelling and Making Stories - A workshop with Steve Spitalny
We all have an inner storyteller waiting to be discovered. Through simple exercises and prompts, workshop participants will create their own stories to bring home to their children. When considering the development of the young child, are there certain types of stories and storytelling techniques that can support the various stages of development? How can we use the symbolic lessons in stories to help the children navigate life's challenges? This workshop is open to adults who love story and want to exercise their own imagination.
Early childhood consultant and writer Stephen Spitalny offers inspiring lectures, workshops and mentoring to teachers and parents around the world.Steve was a Waldorf kindergarten teacher for 24 years.
