Seattle Acoustic Festival
An awesome line-up of some of the best, acoustic and folk gems of the Seattle music scene, including:
Victoria Williams - Founder of the musicians' organization, Sweet Relief, Victoria was named "one of 100 greatest living songwriters" by Paste Magazine. Her music has been covered by Pearl Jam, Lou Reed, Soul Asylum, and others.
Marvin Etzioni - Marvin has played with Lucinda Williams, the Dixie Chicks, John Doe, and many others. His songs have been featured on television and movies. He has also produced The Counting Crows and Toad the Wet Sprocket.
Bradford Loomis - Brad has one of the biggest, most soulful voices in the Pacific Northwest. He croons melodic Americana with a passion that resonates in the roots of the deepest folk tradition.
Aaron English - Aaron's music combines acoustic and rock influences that have earned comparisons with artists as diverse as Peter Gabriel and Jose Gonzales. His ablum "All the Waters of This World" has been called one of the top 5 singer-songwriter albums of the year.
Walter Salas-Humara - Walter is an iconoclastic visual artist and musician, and the former creative force behind the New York City band, The Silos. Walter sings warm, deep, rich melodies, and is releasing a solo effort later this year.
Daniel Kirkpatrick - Daniel channels vintage rock influences that echo artists like Elvis Costello and Tom Petty while blending a guitar approach made famous by old Chicago blues greats. Staying true to his roots, Kirkpatrick, has a melodic style that lends itself well to harmonies and improvisation.
Stephanie Anne Johnson - Finalist on NBC's the Voice, Stephanie's soulful, emotive vocals are based on an intimate, acoustic soul that shines in her personal style of vulnerable songwriting.
Paul Mauer - Paul Mauer fuses rock, pop, and acoustic influences. He has been widely regarded as one of the most promising artists of the Pacific NW. Recently, Paul Mauer won the Olympia Music Awards, in the category of "Best Singer-Songwriter".
