4TH FRIDAY FORUM: Vaude-village!
What happens when you get a bunch of talented performers together and throw them in a blender? Some kind of Vaude-village!
Vaude-village returns to The Dance Hall for the 4TH FRIDAY FORUM on May 23, 2014. The line-up for this month's event features Kittery's own Renaissance man, the extraordinarily talented Mr. Dean Diggins who will be the MC for the evening. In addition he will be playing piano accompaniment for singer/actress Linette Miles presenting a celebration of classic Broadway tunes from hit shows, including "South Pacific", "Follies", "A Little Night Music", and more for a "Lullaby of Broadway."
Also appearing: Belly-Dancer Jennifer Cormier; Ukulele maestro Joel Eckhaus aka Ukulele Eck; Singer Elizabeth Burd aka Burdie Burd; Leland Faulkner aka Doc Hokum; and a cameo by resident tap dancer Drika Overton.
The Vaudeville themed 4TH Friday Forum made its first appearance at The Dance Hall in January to a sold out house.
$12/advance $15/door
The monthly 4TH FRIDAY FORUM series at The Dance Hall began in September 2013 as a way for artists to collaborate, explore, experiment and create new work. The events are informal and often full of unexpected surprises for artists and audiences alike.
