Deep Time - A Nohgaku workshop
Deep Time The final session in our Art of Performance Physicality Series is coming up June 6th & 7th. Many people have remarked about our intensity and fluidity on stage. Here is a chance to gain some more insight in to how we do it. Co-Artistic Director Jubilith Moore will lead Deep Time workshop will be to expand the performers ideas of time. To explore the simultaneity of time and space and as they are omnipotently available. A look to effective drama born out of re-calibration.
These Training Intensives are focused on exploring underlying foundations of Nohgaku (accomplished entertainment) for contemporary application. Often described as the art of performance, Nohgaku refers to the classical Japanese theatre forms of Noh (Drama) and Kyogen (Comedy). The inherent principles are time-tested, unique and come together to create a refined and powerful stage aesthetic.
