On Saturday, June 21st, the International Karate Organization (I.K.O.) Kyokushinkaikan will host the ALL AMERICAN OPEN International Karate Championships at Hunter College Sportsplex in Manhattan.
NO pads! NO gloves! -Just pure, unadulterated, full-contact, KNOCKDOWN KARATE FIGHTING at its finest, LIVE!
Nearly 100 competitors are scheduled to compete in KATA (classic Japanese karate forms) & KUMITE (knockdown karate fighting) in Juniors, Seniors, Women's & Men's Divisions.
In addition, inspiring children's karate demonstrations & dramatic board-breaking exhibitions will round out the Main Event festivities.
In the Men's Division, renowned KYOKUSHIN fighters from all over the world will fight for the title: "The Spanish Eagle" World Heavyweight Champion, Alejandro Navarro; the "French Connection" European Super Heavyweight Champion, Djemar Belkhoudja; the "Siberian Wolf" and All Japan Super Heavyweight Champion, Darmen Sadvokasov, and local favorite, the "NY Giant" US Super Heavyweight Champion Daniel Milicevic - all poised to upset the current 4x Defending All American Open Champion, "Iron Man" ZAHARI DAMYANOV.
With the up and coming young rookies from all over the world entering for a chance at an invite to the I.K.O. Kyokushinkaikan World Open Karate Tournament in Tokyo next year, competition is fierce, and they got nothin' to lose ~who will rule in NYC today?!

*TICKETS are good for the entire Championship day, from the preliminary elimination rounds in the morning, through to the evening's MAIN EVENT, including Demonstrations, Finals & Awards Ceremony.

*A brief intermission will occur between the prelims' conclusion & the start of the Main Event (approx 2-3pm).
During that time, all spectators must exit the Arena.
