Visit HFF's D-Day encampment of over 100 history reenactors in authentic D-Day attire, and almost as many military vehicle enthusiasts. Veterans will be asked to recall their experiences. Kilo-7 will be activity rich, family friendly. In a blending of old and new, Joint Base Lewis-McChord will display its modern hardware. In the afternoon, aviation author Mike Lavelle will present "Allied Air Support, Operation Overlord." And to cap the day, HFF's B-25 and P-51B will show off invasion stripes in a tribute to the surviving veterans.
Active and retired military may show I.D. at the entrance for free admission.
