ION Film Festival - Single Day Pass for Screenings

The "ION International Animation, Games and Film Festival," is the first festival and conference dedicated to the merging business of animation, gaming and filmmaking.

We have put together a wonderful program, for the industry as well as for the community and general public to experience: from Opening Night Gala, to exciting Halloween screenings for kids and the rest of the family.

The Festival & Summit will be held in different venues throughout downtown Culver City from October 28-31. Screenings will be at The Culver Studios.

As part of our line-up, we will show international short films from live action to animation, documentaries to music videos and experimental films. We will also have an array of new video games that the kids can come and experience first hand during the festival. Some games will be new ones coming out soon and some may already be out.

We have secured a wonderful Halloween animated film from Mainframe, one of the largest Animation studios in Canada. "Scary Godmother" is a great one-hour film for kids and parents of all ages - to see on "Kids' Day" which is appropriately on Sunday, Halloween day. Also included in our Kids' Day line-up is a series of children's animated shorts, sponsored by "Animation Ink."

Kids are encouraged to come as their favorite Halloween character. Special Halloween goodie bags will also be given out to children.

Taking place parallel to the ION Festival will be the ION Summit on Convergence in Entertainment. As video games get more cinematic and Hollywood producers look towards interactive entertainment for source material, the lines between the two industries continue to dissolve.
