Marley Carroll
In 2011, Carroll truly came into his own as a producer and live performer. He developed a solo PA set to bring a more raw and improvisatory vision of his music to live audiences, combining vocals, turntables, hardware controllers, and live Moog synth. Carroll's onstage performances are exercises in understated talent that mix live vocals with stunning and unorthodox turntablist skills over a bed of sophisticated electronica. In 2012, he toured with forward-thinking producers like Shigeto, Dabrye, and Emancipator, and appeared at groundbreaking music festivals across the country (Moogfest, Decibel, Coachella). His 2012 EP R&S / Cedars was featured favorably by XLR8R. In 2013, he released "Sings," a full-length LP that combines the best of his recent instrumental work with his considerable skills as a songwriter. The sophomore album received praise from tastemakers including Pitchfork and Rolling Store. Think Caribou meets Four Tet, fronted by a Ben Gibbard-esque tenor.
"Marley Carroll is connoisseur of groove, a tastemaker with a diverse palette and great attention to detail. Gifted in the dark arts of composition, production and turntablism, Marley Carroll is a veteran in the making." - Emancipator

Elaquent
What makes Elaquent special is not that he's doing anything extremely weird or left field with his music, it's that he's just really great at making instrumental hip hop songs stand out by doing all the subtle things very well. One way he does that is by creating some really interesting loops that won't start or stop at the most obvious place, but will blend in with the rest of the instrumentation and beat perfectly, and will stay in your head long after the song is over. He also has a really gentle touch to his production, especially with the melodic elements, but balances it perfectly with the ability to drop bass and drums that can blow out your speakers." ~~ Chi Chi / scratchedvinyl.com

BomBassic:
BomBassic is the musical collaboration of Brucey B and Cpt. HyperDrive. Originally from Stony Brook, New York, now based in North Carolina, Cpt. HyperDrive and Brucey B met in high school and became friends on their shared love for hip hop and music in general. Brucey formed a local hip hop group, IRD, and a few years later HyperDrive asked to join. Welcomed into the group, Brucey B taught HyperDrive all of his production techniques and how to operate audio hardware. Their chemistry was evident and their skills kept progressing. They continued to mold their sound, but a relocation of Bruce's family changed their sound forever. In 2008, Brucey moved to Asheville, NC and began sending HyperDrive different types of electronic music. Both found a connection to the various genres of electronic music because of the arrangements, sounds, melodies and the overall composition. Passion for innovative music and introduction to new genres and artists inspired the two to form a new group. BomBassic was born in Spring 2011 in an effort to combine their experience of production along with the limitless boundaries of electronic music. Since then they have formed a deep catalog of soul moving material that continues to evolve in style and sound.
