DIY Symphony
It's a party and you're invited! Not only are you invited but YOU get to choose the music!
Because group of 27 has some of the finest musicians in Toronto, they're able to perform at the highest level even while sight-reading. Enjoy a party atmosphere as you, the audience, choose each movement of a symphony the orchestra plays right there on the spot. Through clapping, hand-raising, smart-phone voting, and even an auction, you pick four different movements to make a symphony! Choose from Haydn's Symphony 83, Mozart's Symphony 38, Schubert's Symphony 5, and Beethoven's Symphony 1.
And then to end the concert and season on a bang, the orchestra will give a complete performance of one of the most famous and loved works of the orchestral repertoire Beethoven's Symphony 7!
So join us for a fun-filled evening of great music making of your choosing!
