Part 1 of the death (and straight boys)cycle, gage-ing noel is an exploration of the things that define a hero, the nature of our relationships, and all things comic book.
Ben and Noel are longtime best friends whose world is shaken to the core when Noel discovers he has the ability to become a hero. He takes on the persona of the superhero that he and Ben created together as kids, and then immerses himself into a world he understands less and less, saving those he can.

as it includes adult language and adult situations.
