Linda Lavin and Billy Stritch: Possibilities TIX AVAILABLE AT DOOR
Linda Lavin brings her acclaimed concert "Possibilities"  to Fire Island, with Musical Director Billy Stritch,  following her starring role in "Too Much Sun," reuniting her with Playwright Nicky Silver ("The Lyons" ) and The Vineyard Theater.

This past season, she starred as Sean Hayes mother in the NBC comedy "Sean Saves The World."

In the past few years, Linda has remained busy with concerts, TV and theater, including her role in the Kennedy Center production of Follies; the Lincoln Center Theatre production of Other Desert Cities and the Off Broadway and Broadway productions of The Lyons, where Linda was nominated for a Tony for Best Actress in a Play, as well as Drama Desk Award nomination for Outstanding Actress in a Play, Outer Critics Circle Award nomination for Outstanding Actress in a Play and Drama League nomination for Distinguished Performance Award

Ms. Lavin has been nominated for several Tony Awards and won  in 1987 for Best Actress in a  Play for "Broadway Bound."    Other nominations include
Tony Award nomination for Best Featured Actress in a Play in 1970 for Last of the Red Hot Lovers; Tony Award nomination in 1998 for Best Featured Actress in a Play,The Diary of Anne Frank; the 2001 Tony Award nomination for Best Actress in a Play, The Tale of the Allergist's Wife and the 2010 Tony Award nomination for Best Actress in a Play, Collected Stories.

Additional roles on Broadway include "Hollywood Arms" written by Carol Burnett and her daughter, the late Carrie Hamilton.

In addition to theater and concerts, audiences know Linda from her TV roles on "Barney Miller," Damn Yanees! opposite Phil Silvers and Lee Remick and
as the waitress and mother in the sitcom Alice based on the award-winning film Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore.  During the nine seasons (1976-1985) "Alice" was on the air, Linda nabbed two Golden Globe awards and an Emmy nomination. Ever the singer, she even sang "There's a New Girl in Town" over the opening credits of the show to the delight of her fans.

Linda's acclaimed concerts, from classic nightclubs to theaters and symphonies, include Songs and Confessions of a One-Time Waitress; and her new show, "Possibilities!" based on her recent CD, featuring "Two for the Road", "Rhode Island is Famous" and the title track, "You've Got Possibilities."
