Mea Fabula
This fundraiser, whose name comes from the Latin words for "my story", will provide attendees with a unique storytelling experience at the Vogel Mansion, which is home to Milwaukee entrepreneur and art collector Andy Nunemaker.
Milwaukee artists stationed throughout the house will listen to short personal stories from attendees and convert them into songs, poems, watercolors, and brief theatrical pieces. Attendees will be able to observe the artists up close during the creative process. They will also have the opportunity to peruse Mr. Nunemaker's extensive art collection as they enjoy drinks and hors d'oevres.
All proceeds will help Ex Fabula expand programming, which includes workshops, StorySlams, and community collaborations, in order to give more Milwaukeeans the chance to be heard, thus building community and strengthening our city.
