Ran Blake is an iconoclast. Since his 1961 collaboration with Jeanne Lee on RCA, Ran Blake has released 35 albums. His latest - Driftwoods, has been called "a kind of creative seance...a slow moving fantasia, full of shuddering harmony..." by the New York Times.
Join Mr. Blake for a night of solo piano music and duets with his special guests Sara Serpa (voice), Aaron Hartley (trombone) and Dave Fabris (guitar). Mr. Blake and his friends will perform pieces from his latest CD and feature the New York premier of his new composition 'Obama'. Truly a night not to be missed!
