Olympia Yoga Festival
Welcome to the OLYMPIA YOGA FESTIVAL!
The Olympia Yoga Festival will be a fun-filled day of yoga classes, live music, community collaboration, and fund raising to benefit Gateways for Incarcerated Youth.
Yoga classes offered all day long from Olympia-based yoga instructors with local musicians performing live music during all classes on singing bowls, harp, guitar, and more.
The afternoon will start off with kirtan hosted by Jai Bhav Kirtan and the evening will begin with the amazing classical Indian duo Rag Dharma. To end the night and in celebration of our first Olympia Yoga Festival we are blessed to have SaraTone & the EarthTribe Gospel!
Throughout the day local yoga studios and health care practitioners will have informational booths to offer information on services and classes being offered in Olympia.
There will also be healthy local food options, local coffee and chai, as well as local baked goods from 8 Arms Bakery.
And to bring in more community collaboration a raffle with local prizes from Olympia business owners!

The OLY YOGA FEST is raising funds for Gateways for Incarcerated Youth:
Gateways sends college students from The Evergreen State College (TESC) into Juvenile Rehabilitation Administration (JRA) institutions to study and learn with youth behind bars.
There is a one-on-one tutoring program and a group learning program, where JRA students choose subjects to study and the TESC students bring resources into the institution so they all can explore these subjects together. Gateways funds provide college tuition credits for youth released from incarceration who might otherwise be unable to afford this education.
Thanks to the Gateways program, kids receive inspiration to learn and hope to take the step and be college students themselves, just like the college kids who visited them in the institutions. http://gateways.evergreen.edu/
