Manchester International Roots Orchestra
The Manchester International Roots Orchestra is a unique, new musically diverse orchestra which aims to nurture musical collaboration between international Manchester based,including refugee and other culturally diverse musicians, and Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM).
The Orchestra involves musicians, singers and MCs of all styles and genres who are proficient and who want to collaborate with others. The orchestra aims to create exciting new music drawing on a range of music genres.
This project involves composer/solo D.bassist Michael Cretu as Music Director ,Prix Europa competition finalist 2013. MIRO is one of the most exciting orchstras in UK.It has singer,MC's,players and composers from around the world, the result is a new and amazing sound with influences from contemporary, world an jazz music.
