Oregon Shakespeare Festival Players: The Tempest (the short version)
Yorke Fryer and John Goodson of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland, present a fast-and-furious condensed version of Shakespeare's 'The Tempest,'with the two actors playing all the parts. That's the first act. In the second, Fryer and Goodson present a medley of scenes demonstrating Shakespearean verbal confrontation: Romeo takes on Paris, PRince Hal matches wits with Hotspur, the meloncholy Jacques goes head-to-head with Touchstone the clown. THis show is part of OSF's annual touring company program, bringing Shakespeare to schools and auditoriums around the country.
