Chatham County Line & The Buckstankle Boys at The Blue Ridge Music Center
The Blue Ridge Music Center (Milepost 213 on the Blue Ridge Parkway, near Galax, VA) kicks off its Summer Saturday Evening Concert Series held in the Center's beautiful outdoor amphitheater nestled at the foot of Fisher Peak in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Saturday, May 31st from 7-9 PM features Bluegrass and Chatham County Line (Raleigh, NC)and Round Peak NC/VA Old Time & Bluegrass Band The Buckstankle Boys.
Formed in 1999 from members of the band Stillhouse, Chatham County Line has released seven albums including six on the influential YepRoc! label and have become popular in Europe as well as their native United States. Their most recent tour took in numerous European destinations, including the prestigious Lowlands Rock Festival in the Netherlands.

The Buckstankle Boys are Wes Clifton, Andy Edmonds, Seth Boyd, Todd Hiatt, and Tim Eaves - born and raised in the BlueRidge Mountains of Virginia and North Carolina. Each one of them, having being brought up and schooled in the ways of traditional mountain music, decided to form a group to promote the older sounds of bluegrass and old time music.
