'A Lucky Life' by Peter Durantine - A Play about Lou Gehrig
Set in a locker room on July 4, 1939, Lou is ready to share his true colors with himself and the audience, 'Life is like the game of baseball,' says Lou Gehrig, 'ya win some, ya lose some.'
Lou Gehrig was a New Yorker, an athlete, a family man, and a young man struck by a terrible disease. Hard Work Productions, in assistance to National Pastime Productions invites you to hear Lou's story and relive some of his most endearing memories with him at Amelia Musical Playhouse.
