CLEAN READING:: 'High on Streep' (the newest social satire by Steven Vivell)

Guy North is the world's most famous actor who started with a promising career, but after using performance-enhancing drugs, he is exposed at the People's Choice Awards. He loses his career and fortune, and moves back home with his parents. His last hope is Alexis Easting, a recent film graduate with a spec winning script no major studio wants to touch. If he can prove his talent (drug-free) he has a chance of earning back the respect of his fans and colleagues. 'High on Streep' is a social satire about talent, toxins and a celebrity-obsessed culture.

Arts collective Imaginese Productions, is forging forward on it's newest ongoing series -- Clean Readings, which provides a unique opportunity for the company's writers and the LA community at large to mingle, refine, and cast feature length scripts. They are read aloud for engaged audiences.

Exploring creative spaces in LA, Imaginese provides a service to these spaces by cleaning, organizing or someway improving the donated space. After making it better we read, empower a writer's new work, and opening up opportunities for further development by our strong community network.

This evening is fueled by a delicious potluck, with contributions crafted by gourmet baker Essence Brown, bringing edible delights to the audience and creative team. Arrive at 7:30p for the potluck.

House opens at 7:45p and the reading starts promptly at 8pm.
