Bare Bones: a paufve | dance benefit
Please join paufve | dance at Bare Bones at Western Sky Studio to raise funds to support the performance of Randee Paufve's solo show, Soil, as part of the Music Moves Festival at ODC Theater in August 2014.
Bare Bones is paufve | dance tradition. We're pleased to bring this event back to you this year. Bare Bones invites multiple choreographers to show new and experimental works-in-progress in the spacious but intimate space at Western Sky in west Berkeley.
The presentation of SOIL at ODC Theater is a great leap for paufve | dance, a contemporary dance company based in Oakland, California. Established in 2001 by choreographer Randee Paufve, the company was founded as a vehicle to support the continued creation of innovative work and to further explore avenues for movement research, live performance and community outreach.
Your participation at this event - through your ticket purchase, silent auction winnings, donations and presence - will help the company to produce its work at ODC Theater, a critical turning point in its history.
