Avonleigh Midsummer Fayre

Join us for a day and a night at Avonleigh Orchards for our Midsummer Fayre, a family friendly event.
Change is afoot at Bradfords only regenerative fruit and veg farm! We are one of the few primary producers within the town limits. We are looking to expand the work we do in the community, and continue the transition to a more inclusive community farm. Whilst remaining productive, Avonleigh Orchards now wishes to focus on education, wellbeing and provide a green space for the people of the town. We would like you to come and be part of this process, expressing what you would like this community resource to be!
Paper tickets now available from Christines sustainable supermarket in Bradford-on-Avon @ £15 each.
Kids (16 and under) free entry.
Evening meal and all events are included with ticket price.
We are inviting as many of Bradford-on-Avons community as possible to gather at this event, giving us all a chance to form new connections and visions.
Through-out the afternoon we shall have talks and workshops and into the evening we shall have feasting and fun. Saturday Night live music from 3 local bands along with a licensed bar providing local tipples.
For kids entertainment, during the afternoon we will have Clown Bert bringing comedy magic, circus skills, big bubbles and lots of audience participation.
All within the beautiful surrounds of the Avonleigh Orchards, BA15 2RD. Camping available.
Your ticket price goes towards the ongoing work and efforts to preserve the organic production of food and drink at the farm. We look forward to celebrating midsummer with you!
SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE MUSIC FROM (BAND LISTINGS):
Swingletree - Good fun Sea shanties and folk on a joyous shore leave from the Nautical Bonnie & Clyde of the Kennet And Avon
Babois Eats - 60s, 70s vibes, Soundtracks and Schmaltz. Cheesy Shiz with the Loveliest twists.
Whistling Treason - Dub folk soundclash. The original Sonic hornpipe, sub bass groove, rebel tune party.
SCHEDULE:
10am-12noon build, test and sound check PA (volunteers welcome to help with set-up)
3.00pm welcome gathering and introductions
3.15pm-4.00pm guest speakers, theme transition to a community farm
4.00pm Break for tea and cake / Clown Bert
4.30pm Avonleigh Orchards First AGM
Acoustic Music / Workshop to be confirmed
6.30pm Big Shared Dinner (please let us know of and food preferences/ allergies)
6.30pm bar opens
7.30pm music into the night
