Hallelujah, A Drag King Revival!
Have you been feeling a little empty as of late? A gaping hole inside, that nothing, not booze, not recreational drugs, not participating in historical elections can fill? Well take a breath deep and let the spirit enter you. Hallelujah! A Drag King Revival is coming to town to soothe your hearts and set your crotches abuzzing. Seattle's first drag show in a goddam long time is here and full of lustful lads, mustachioed marvels and a range of kinghood - the likes of which you have never seen!
The venue is small and the performers are fucking hot so get your tickets quick, for the ride of your life. And let us praise these virile kings for grinding their bits for the sake of a cheering crowd. Well see you on the 20th!
Performer Bios
Randy Andy is Seattles self-proclaimed premiere Drag King. Wowing audiences since 2000, Andys special talent is taking the lyrics of songs completely out of context and performing them as they were always meant to be. Randy Andy will have the ladies creaming their jeans and the fellas flinging their panties on stage! His favorite quote, Randy is an adjective for Christs sake! www.myspace.com/king_randyandy
ETG was first conceived for the annual women's amateur strip event "Bang for the Buck"...expanded for the Fantasy portion of the International Ms. Leather contest in San Francisco...massaged for the Seattle Erotic Arts Festival...and now perfected for "Hallelujah!" International Ms. Leather, Honeysuckle Hype, Sir Tinker Pink, and Sir Tony Ynot invite you to join them on a trip down the rabbit hole. Trust us: choose the rainbow pill. www.internationalmsleather.com
Lou Henry Hoover has been dancing since he was three years old. He directs The Launchettes (Century Ballroom's resident chorus girl troupe) and LAUNCH dance theater (a contemporary dance company), and teaches ballet at Velocity Dance Center. www.LAUNCHdancetheater.com
The Royal Knights have been performing live from Bellingham to Bend since May of 2006. Their goal is not only to entertain, but to support all aspects of the LGBTQ community. The Royal Knights are dedicated to representing themselves and their brothers...with HONOR, INTEGRITY, RESPECT, CHIVALRY, AND NOBILITY. Check them out @ myspace.com/theroyalknights.
Seymour Squirrel, a man of many talents, and a "Master of NONE"....Seymour has a way of sneaking sensually up on you with sexual undertone; a desire to make Hump and Grind, and ensures to make the ladies know he is in control... And doesnt a name like Seymour just scream dominance?
Toby Treat has been dreaming about cool riders since adolescence. If you know any, or are one yourself, please please find him after the show.
Renten loves the great NW so much he named himself after a city here! Okay so hes a little slow in spelling class, but heck, his understated mannerisms and big ole doe eyes will have you edging yourself up to the stage to offer just a little bit of comfort.
Buster Hymen is a cool kinda fella, with a huge set and a generous appetite for love and peace and Little Debbies. Prepare to witness some seriously awkwardly angled moves and hair that the most dedicated softball playing, lesbian separatist would be jealous of.
Aiden Heat is en fuego! With about a zillion years of theater training (and if your lucky your hands) under his belt, Aiden has traversed the alternative performance landscape to bring you his dynamic brand of drag. Aiden is the founding member of the Cabiri and a troupe member of the Little Red Studio.
Miracle Max exploded onto the drag scene about two weeks ago and has been unstoppable ever since! Max looks forward to delivering to you the kind of miracle only he has the power to perform. Keep those pants buttoned ladies, Max only performs certain miracles by request backstage.
Mario Marvel is a king who can sing! He possesses a deep soothing voice and a big old pair of burly arms designed by god to jump right into and melt into a giant puddle as he croons away.
And the amazing MC
Ernie Von Schmaltz is a ladies man. He's been entertaining the women publicly since the middle of 2005, but has been satisfying in private since the beginning of time. He can be seen all over Seattle stages as an emcee, performer and delicious masculine man-treat! www.myspace.com/ernievonschmaltz
