Juan Medrano Cotito in Concert for CD release "La Voz Del Cajon"
The AFrican ConeXion Project 09 Presents:
Recently named Ambassador of the Peruvian Cajn, Juan "Cotito" Medrano visits Seattle to perform from his new album, "La Voz Del Cajn". Medrano hails from Peru and has toured and recorded extensively with Susana Baca and other world-reknown musicians. He is joined by Peruvian guest artists Roberto Argedas, Rosario Goyoneche (vocals) and Petronila Robles (percussion) as well as local musicians, and will perform live at Langston Hughes Performance Center (17th and Yesler) on Saturday, May 23rd at 7:3pm.
