Reclusive Mercy Seer lives alone and set apart in the Ozark Mountains with a void in her soul where her son used to be. At 30 years old, Charlie was found murdered along dusty road and the memories of him and their life together continue to haunt her as she fights for the right to keep her home from being taken by the new highway. The void within becomes less and less as she befriends the local deputy's wife and the sweet baby that reminds her of her own Charlie. Their friendship leads to answered questions and a new will to go on in this hauntingly beautiful play by local playwright Justin Asher.
